Before equipment installation, a qualified technician should
use an outlet tester or voltmeter to check the AC receptacle
for the presence of ground as shown in Figure 2-1.

The voltage measured from Phase to Neutral should be

If the receptacle is not a properly grounded 3-prong type, stop the
installation. Installation can only be completed after a qualified
electrician corrects the problem.
