7-9. Lower shaft mechanism

Apply grease <Grease unit (SB1275-101)> specified by Brother to the portions indicated by the white arrows.
Tighten the set screw (2) until the head of the
screw is flush with the edge of the bed. (Refer
to "8-9. Rotary hook lubrication amount".)
