Putting the instruments heads into operation
Place the desired instrument head onto the attachment on the
handle so that the two recesses on the lower part of the inst-
rument head sit on top of the two projecting guide cams of the
battery handle. Press the instrument head lightly onto the handle
and turn the handle in a clockwise direction until it stops. To
remove the head turn it in a counter-clockwise direction.
Putting the anti-theft security into operation
1 Function
a
security, turn the Allen screw (b) using the Allen key (a) (included
with the instrument head) until it stops. The instrument head can
now no longer be removed from the handle. In order to deactivate
the anti-theft security, the Allen screw (b) has to be unscrewed
again using the Allen key (a).

Otoscope ri-scope
1. Destination
L'otoscope Riester décrit dans ce mode d'emploi sert à éclairer
le conduit auditif et à l'examiner avec les spéculums auriculaires
Riester.
2. Insertion et éjection des spéculums auriculaires
On peut adapter sur la tête de l'otoscope, au choix, des spécu-
lums auriculaires jetables de Riester (de couleur bleue) ou des
spéculums réutilisables de Riester (de couleur noire). La taille
du spéculum auriculaire est indiquée à l'arrière du spéculum.
Otoscope L1 et L2
Tourner le spéculum dans le sens horaire jusqu'à ce que vous
sentiez une résistance. Pour éjecter le spéculum, le tourner dans
le sens antihoraire.
Otoscope L3
Mettre le spéculum sur la monture métallique chromée de
l'otoscope et appuyer jusqu'à vous sentiez qu'il s'encliquète. Pour
éjecter le spéculum, appuyer sur le bouton bleu. Le spéculum est
éjecté automatiquement.
3. Lentille grossissante pivotante
La lentille pivotante est fixée sur l'instrument et peut être
tournée de 360°.
4. Introduction d'instruments externes dans l'oreille
Si vous voulez introduire dans l'oreille des instruments externes
(p. ex. une pincette), vous devez faire pivoter de 180° la lentille
grossissante (grossissement env. x 3) qui se trouve sur la tête
de l'otoscope. Ensuite, vous pouvez mettre en place la lentille
chirurgicale.
