5.2.3.1. AUTOMATIC BLADE SPEED:
-
The density sensor (11) at the front of the lawn mower
can be used to automatically adjust the turning speed of
the cutting blades that varies between 3000 and 5000
rpm depending on the density of the grass.
For the mower adapt the turning speed of the cutting
blades automatically, set the lawn mower in C-H mode.
When the optical sensor is covered with dirt, it can no
longer analyse the density and the height of the grass to
be cut. The lawn mower therefore stops the blades from
turning and the displays the message 'OPT'.
To clean the density sensor (11), see Section 6.2.5,
"Cleaning the optical sensor"
If you wish to continue working regardless, switch to
manual mode and choose one of the four turning speeds
C-1, C-2, C-3 or C-4 and clean the sensor later.
5.2.3.2. MANUAL BLADE SPEED:
-
You can also manage the turning speed of the cutting blades manually by configuring the lawn mower in one of the
three possible settings C-1, C-2, C-3 or C-4.
The thicker and higher the grass, the faster the turning speed of the blades should be.
