UPS Remote Control Functions

Activate the external remote shut down contact to test the function. Always test the RPO function before
applying your critical load to avoid accidental load loss.
Programmable Signal Outputs
The 9PX incorporates 4 programmable signal outputs: one relay output, three optocouplers outputs (pin- 1/7/8).
Signal outputs can be configured (see Settings > Com settings > Output Signals in
following information:
Signal
On battery (On bat)
Low battery (Low bat)
Battery fault (Bat fault)
Bypass
UPS OK
Load powered
Load protected
General alarm
Ext charger ON
OVL pre-alarm
Connectivity Cards
Connectivity cards allow the UPS to communicate in a variety of networking environments and with different
types of devices. The 9PX models have one available communication bay for the following connectivity cards:
Network-M2 card — has SNMP and HTTP capabilities as well as monitoring through a Web browser
interface; connects to a Gigabit Ethernet network. In addition, a Environmental Monitoring Probe can be
attached to obtain humidity, temperature, smoke alarm, and security information.
INDGW-M2 card- has SNMP and HTTP capabilities and a Modbus to facilitate remote monitoring of the
UPS system through any Building Management System.
Relay-MS card- has isolated dry contact (Form-C) relay outputs for UPS status: Utility failure, Battery
