Before installing the hob, remove the
protective film.
This hob may be built into a worktop of
30 to 40 mm thick and 600 mm deep.
In order to install the hob into the
kitchen cabinet, an aperture with the
dimensions shown in fig. 5.1 has to be
made, keeping in consideration the
following:
– inside the cabinet, between the
bottom side of the hob and the upper
surface of any other appliance or
internal shelf there must be a
clearance of at least 30 mm;

– the hob must be installed no less than
200 mm away from any side wall;
– the hob must be installed at a
distance of no less than 50 mm from
the rear wall.
– there must be a distance of at least
650 mm between the hob and any
wall cabinet or extractor hood
positioned immediately above (see
fig. 5.2)
– the coatings of the walls of the unit
or appliances near the hob must be
heat resistant.
Do not install the appliance near
inflammable materials (eg. curtains).
