LINEAR MODE
OPERATION
Linear mode is one of the two Intellex recording modes (see
Record Mode Setup in the Intellex Installation Instructions).
NOTE: When the image database is full and Linear is selected,
recording stops and an option screen appears.
In linear mode, the unit records from the beginning to the end
of the image database. When the database is partially or com-
pletely full (depending on the record setting), the unit displays
a notification screen. The operator must choose one of the fol-
lowing options:
• Perform a backup immediately.
• Postpone archiving and recording until later.
• Continue recording images at the beginning of the data-
base, which overwrites older images.
The following sections describe the messages and options for
each notification screen.
