3. Select one of the following options:
No — Click to close this screen without logging out.
Yes — Click to log out. The system displays the Enter PIN
code screen.
The Intellex digital recor der is designed to operate continu-
ously. However, if you must shut it down, use the following
procedure.
CAUTION: Always complete the shutdown procedure be-
fore turning off unit power.
NOTE: Shutting down the system is a protected feature. You
must possess the Shutdown privilege to access it (see
Security Setup in the Intellex Installation Instructions ).
To shut down the system:
1. From the main screen, click the Utility button. The Utility
Options screen appears (see Utility Options).
2. Click Shutdown. A confirmation message appears.
3. Select one of the following options:
No — Click to cancel the shutdown and return to the Util-
ity Options screen.
NOTE: If the unit is backing up images, it interrupts the backup
before shutting down.
Yes — Click to shut down the system. The unit exits the
Intellex software and turns off unit power automatically.
To restart the system:
Select one of the following options:
If unit power is still on, insert a paper clip into the pinhole
above the REC indicator to reset the unit.
If unit power is off, insert a paper clip into the pinhole
below the power indicator to power up the unit.
