Adjusting the stitch length
To shorten the stitch length, press the
" –" stitch length adjustment button. For
a longer stitch length, press the "+"
stitch length adjustment button.
Generally speaking, the thicker the
fabric, thread and needle, the longer
the stitch should be.
To begin sewing, set the machine for
straight stitch.
Place the fabric under the presser foot
with the fabric edge lined up with the
desired seam guide line on the needle
plate.
Lower the presser foot lifter and then
step on the foot controller to start
sewing.
