4-1. A Color-bar Signal is Output from the VIDEO OUT Connector. (CHU
LINK CHECK ERROR is Displayed on the LCD Screen.)
Cause 1: The dedicated camera cable supplied with this unit is not connected.
1. Confirm the connector (CN401 on the SY-301 board) of CCU and the connector (CN103 on the CA-
46 board) of CHU.
2. Confirm the camera cable.
3. Connect the camera cable for confirmation using another unit.
Normal:
CCU or CHU is abnormal.
Abnormal: Replace the dedicated camera cable.
Cause 2: CCU or CHU is abnormal.
1. Connect with other CHU.
Normal:
The inside of CHU is defective.
Abnormal: The inside of CCU is defective.
Cause 3: The inside of CHU is defective.
1. Check the output voltages (+15 V, +3.3 V, +3.3 V (HDAV), +2.5 V, and _7.5 V) of the PS-613
board when the power of CCU is ON.
Normal output voltages:
Abnormal output voltages: The PS-613 board is defective.
Cause 4: The inside of CCU is defective.
1. Replace the SY-301 board and check it.
The parts around IC401 and X401 are considered to be defective.
Cause 5: The CA-46 board is defective.
1. The circuits around XC101 and IC114 or the connected connectors are defective.
Cause 6: The PS-613 board is defective.
1. The circuits around IC201 and Q203 are defective.
4-2. The Power Indicator does not Light in Amber Even If the Power
Switch on the Rear Panel is Set to ON.
Cause 1: A power cable is not securely inserted into the AC inlet.
1. Check that the power cable is properly inserted into the AC inlet.
2. Set the power switch on the rear panel to ON again.
Cause 2: Switching regulator
1. Check a switching power supply of 12 VDC inside the switching regulator.
Abnormal power of 12 VDC: Check the power defect or the blown fuse of the switching regulator.
Cause 3: Fuses of SY-301 board
1. Check that the fuses (F501 to F503) of the SY-301 board are not blown.
Blown fuse: Confirm the cause of fuse blowing and replace the defective fuse.
