    Using the mode switch Set the mode switch to the desired function. MENU button (Still Image) (Movie) Shutter button Mode switch Allows you to shoot still images (page 29, 30, 31, 33). You can set the desired still image shooting mode with MENU t [REC Mode].

    Using the internal memory The camera has approximately 28 MB of internal memory. This memory is not removable. You can record images on the internal memory when there is no memory card inserted in the camera.     Smile Shutter When the camera detects a smile, the shutter is released automatically. 1 Press (Smile) on the control button. 2 Wait for a smile to be detected. When the smile level exceeds the b point on the indicator, the camera records images automatically.

    Viewing images on a TV You can view images on a TV by connecting the camera to a TV. The connection varies according to the type of TV the camera is connected to.     On TV color systems If you want to view images on a TV screen, you need a TV with a video input jack and the dedicated A/V cable. The color system of the TV must match that of the digital still camera. Check the following lists for the TV color system of the country or region where the camera is used.
