5-3-2. White Balance Adjustment

1. Connect a waveform/vector monitor. (Refer to Section
5-3-1.1.)
2. Enter a VALUE & TEST SETTING menu from the
adjustment menu in the test mode. (Refer to Section 5-
2.)
3. Shoot a 100% white level (3200 K) in lens iris F8 from
the mode initialization state.
4. On the vector monitor, align a white luminescent spot
with the center position. (Gain x5 mode)
For ADJ. No. 0E data, the luminescent spot moves
vertically. For ADJ. No. 0F data, it moves to the right
and left.
Specification: The white luminescent spot must be
put in the center circle of a color
production frame sheet in the gain x1
mode.
5. After adjustment is completed, set the I/O power
switch on the control panel to OFF, and terminate the
adjustment menu.

5-3-3. Standard Sensitivity Adjustment

1. Connect a waveform/vector monitor. (Refer to Section
5-3-1.1.)
2. Enter a VALUE & TEST SETTING menu from the
adjustment menu in the test mode. (Refer to Section 5-
2.)
3. Shoot a 100% white level (3200 K) in lens iris F8 from
the mode initialization state.
4. Adjust the peak level of a Y signal on the waveform
monitor to the specification
For ADJ. No. 0A data, the Y signal level fluctuates
vertically.

Specification:
5. After adjustment is completed, set the I/O power
switch to OFF and terminate the adjustment menu.

5-3-4. SHP Phase Adjustment

1. Connect a waveform/vector monitor. (Refer to Section
5-3-1.1.)
2. Enter the test mode. (Refer to Section 5-2.)
An adjustment menu is then displayed.
3. Set each operation mode from the mode initialization
state as described below using buttons on the control
panel.
. AE MODE:
SENSITIVITY MODE: ISO400
4. Shoot a gray scale and adjust the peak level of a Y
signal to 60IRE using a lens iris.
5. Enter an EVR & DSP SETTING menu from the
adjustment menu in the test mode.
6. Adjust the luminescent spot so that it is put in the
center of a vector.
Specification: Increase EVRC NO. 3 data to D0 once,
decrease it gradually, and adjust it to
the first point where the white and
black luminescent spots go nearest the
center.
7. After adjustment is completed, set the I/O power
switch to OFF and terminate the adjustment menu.

5-3-5. Reading the CCD Defect Data

1. Enter the test mode. (Refer to Section 5-2.)
An adjustment menu is then displayed.
2. Set each operation mode from the mode initialization
state as described below using buttons on the control
panel.
. AE MODE: MANUAL
SHUTTER: 4sec
GAIN:
12 dB
3. Close the lens iris.
4. Enter an ADJUST TEST SETTING menu from the
ADJUST VALUE SETTING menu in the test mode,
set the NO.: 07 data to 20, and press the "ENTER"
button.
The defect data read operation then starts.

Execute step 4 again if "CAPTURE ERROR" is
displayed on the monitor after the read operation
starts.
5. After several minutes, "EXIT PUSH ENTER" is
displayed. Then, press the "ENTER" button to
complete the adjustment.
6. After adjustment is completed, set the I/O power
switch to OFF and terminate the adjustment menu.
