5-3-6. Confirmation of White Balance Lead-
in Operation
1. Connect a waveform/vector monitor. (Refer to Section
5-3-1.1.)
The gain is set to x1.
2. Set each operation mode from the mode initialization
state as described below using buttons on the control
panel.
. AE MODE:
SENSITIVITY MODE: ISO100
. WHITE BALANCE:
AUTO-WHITE-PAINT: OFF
3. Open the lens iris and project 100% white (3200 K) on
a pattern box.
4. Put a color temperature conversion filter (C14) on the
lens and press the "WHITE" button.
Confirm that the luminescent spot is put in the center
circle of a color reproduction frame.
5. After confirmation is completed, set the I/O power
switch to OFF and terminate the adjustment menu.
5-3-7. Confirmation of CCD Cooling
Operation

It takes several minutes before the CCD is fully cooled
down after the I/O power switch is turned on.
1. Enter an ADJUST TEST SETTING menu from the
ADJUST VALUE SETTING menu in the test mode.
(Refer to Section 5-2.)
2. Set the NO.: 00 data to 0002 and press the "ENTER"
button.
3. Confirm that the specifications below are satisfied.
Specification: The contents of blinking display must
be CCD Temp. = +005 ± 2 and the
EVR DATA value must be 10 or
higher (when the room temperature is
less than 30 dC).
4. After confirmation is completed, set the I/O power
switch to OFF and terminate the adjustment menu.

5-4-2. 3.5-inch LCD Adjustment

1. Preparation
1. Connect CCU and CHU using a camera (Gigabit)
cable.
2. Set the NTSC/PAL selector switch on the rear panel to
NTSC.
3. Connect one harness on the PD-106 board and two
flexible flat cables to tool CCU.
4. Terminate the S and BNC (VBS) connectors of CCU
in 75 Z and observe the signal level using a TV
monitor.
5. Set the I/O power switch to ON while pressing and
holding the "DISP/INFO" button. (Wait until a beep
sound stops.)
6. Set the I/O power switch to ON for OSD display while
pressing and holding the "ENTER" button.
7. Enter an EVR & DSP SETTING menu from the
adjustment menu in the test mode and select TYPE:
EVR3.
(Refer to Section 5-2 for entering the test mode.)

After each adjustment is completed, the EVR value is
automatically stored in EEPROM.
