2-4-1. Writing of Initial Data in IC523
n
The EEPROM initial data of the SY-301 board is written
during factory setting. Write the initial data in the
procedure below only when EEPROM (IC523) is replaced.
Procedure
n
In this procedure, the "power switch on the rear panel" and
"I/O power switch on the control panel (referred to as an I/
O power switch hereinafter)" are classified for description
so as to distinguish two types of power switches. Other
switches and buttons are all located on the control panel of
CCU.
1. Confirm that a PC card is not inserted into the PC card
slot.
2. Set the power switch on the rear panel to ON.
The power indicator (D201 on the PSW-77 board)
lights in amber.
3. Press the I/O power switch while pressing and holding
the "REC" button.
The power indicator (D201 on the PSW-77 board)
lights in green.
4. Set the power switch on the rear panel to OFF after a
beep sound stops.
2-5. FM-84 Board
. Updating of microcomputer (H8CPU) software (Refer to
Section 3.)
. CCU external video signal adjustment (Refer to Section
5-4-3.)
n
Adjust according to the NTSC/PAL mode when
performing the CCU external video signal adjustment.
2-6. PD-106 Board
The PD-106 board requires no adjustment after
replacement because it has been adjusted during factory
setting. Moreover, the adjustment after replacement is not
also required because EEPROM (IC7) that maintains an
adjustment value is mounted on the PD-106 board.
n
Perform "5-4-1. 3.5-inch LCD Adjustment" when the parts
on the PD-106 board are replaced.
