Cause 4: IC503 on SY-301 board
1. Confirm a voltage of 3.3 V at pin 4 of IC503 on the SY-301 board.
4-3. The Power of CCU is not Turned on. (I/O Power Switch Operation)
Cause 1: The power switch on the rear panel is not set to ON.
1. Set the power switch on the rear panel to ON.
Cause 2: The power indicator does not light in amber.
1. Refer to section 4-2.
Cause 3: The flexible flat cable on the PSW-77 board is not connected properly.
1. Confirm the connection of the flexible flat cable.
Cause 4: S201 and D201 on the PSW-77 board are abnormal.
1. Check S201 and D201 on the PSW-77 board.
Cause 5: The SY-301 board is defective.
1. Connect another SY-301 board to confirm the operation.
Normal: The SY-301 board is defective.
Replace the SY-301 board.
4-4. No Camera Live Image is Displayed. (VBS and S-Video Signals are
not Input to the TV Monitor.)
Cause 1: A camera cable is not connected properly.
1. Confirm the connection of the camera cable.
Cause 2: The TV monitor used is not proper in the system and setting.
1. Confirm the setting of the NTSC/PAL selector switch on the rear panel.
Cause 3: CHU is abnormal.
1. Confirm that a camera live image is displayed on the LCD screen of CCU.
Displayed:
Confirm the NTSC/PAL system.
Not displayed: Connect another CHU to confirm the operation. Check CHU if normal operation is
performed after replacement.
Cause 4: Diaphragm of camera lens
1. Confirm the diaphragm of a camera lens. Check that the diaphragm is proper in brightness.
Cause 5: The "AE MODE" button is set to MANUAL.
1. Set the "AE MODE" button to AUTO.
Cause 6: A long-time shutter value is set.
1. Change the long-time shutter value to the high-speed position for confirmation.
Cause 7: No improvement is made in causes 1 to 6 described above.
1. Replace the SY-301 board.
