8.3 Slope digging with a known starting level

Set the slope value according to chapter 8.1.
The height difference between the starting point and the target level is the starting level (3.00 m in
this example). Set this starting level in "Main menu" → "Starting level" or hold the "0.0" button for 3
seconds.
Move the bucket to a stake or other reference point. Zero the measurement value by pressing the
"0.0" button. The starting level ("3.00" in this example) appears on the screen (Figure 48).

" value shows the height difference between the bucket and the target surface. The reading
is positive above the surface (Figure 49) and negative below the surface. The target surface has
been reached when "
" is "0.00" (Figure 50).
