Push button switch, which is connected to the RB8 port pin. When momentarily
pressed, the LCD measurement and board status information is changed.

Power-on status LED, which indicates that the Digital Power Starter Kit is
powered by the 9V supply.

USB bus indicator, which indicates that the device is connected to the USB bus
and the programmer/debugger is powered.
P1 and P2
Two variable resistors (potentiometers). Each potentiometer is connected to an
analog input pin, providing an analog reference voltage from 3.3V to ground
(0V).

Buck converter power-on status LED, which indicates when the Buck DC/DC
converter is enabled.
D5
Boost converter power-on status LED, which indicates when the Boost DC/DC
converter is enabled. Because of the Boost configuration, this LED will be
illuminated when +9V is present at the J2 connector.
