The PORT LF-SD and PORT MFE can be shipped as pop-up buoy system. This allows the unit to float to the surface upon detaching from a payload. 1.1 Pop-Up Assembly PORT Pop-Up system is shipped assembled. If Pop-Up canister was purchased separately it will consist of: • (1) Top (Flotation) Cup •... - Page 4 1. Make sure that when selecting the line to be used it is of proper strength and material for the application. EdgeTech recommends a premium double braided nylon rope. 2. Attach the end of the line to the outside and inside of the bucket with Zip ties and attach the end of the line to the chain at the bottom of the bucket with a shackle as pictured below.
- Page 5 3. Flake the line into the bottom of the bucket, going around 2/3rds of the way around the center and then back, continue flaking back and forth advancing further around each time so the line lays evenly around the center post. illustrate how to load the line.
