(4) Connecting the safety extension unit to the robot controller

Grommet
RIO cable
Cable clamp
1) Cut an opening in the grommet to allow the cable through.
2) Connect the RIO cable to the RIO port of the robot controller.
3) Pull the RIO cable through the grommet into the Earth leakage breaker / safety extension unit power supply
box.
4) Connect the RIO cable to the RIO1 socket of the safety extension unit.
5) Connect the terminator cap to the RIO2 socket of the safety extension unit.
6) Secure the RIO cable to the cable clamp with a cable tie.
7) Reattach the front cover of the Earth leakage breaker / safety extension unit power supply box.
