2.3.6 Connecting the safety extension unit to the controller

(1) Equipment supplied by customer

Supply the following equipment.

24V power supply
24V power cable
SDI1 and SDI2 con -
nector cable
SDO1 and SDO2
connector cable

(2) Connection method

Use the RIO cable (2F-SFRIOCBL) to connect the safety extension unit to the robot controller.
