2.1 Operator Protective Structure and Seat Belt
A Roll-Over Operator Protective Enclosure and seat belt are essential to protect the operator from falling off
the skid steer, especially during a roll over where the driver could be crushed and killed.
Operate this Equipment only with a Power Unit equipped with an
approved operator Roll-Over Protective Structure (ROPS). Always
wear seat belts. Serious injury or even death could result from falling
off the Power Unit--particularly during a turnover when the operator
could be pinned under the Operator Protective Structure.
2.2 Operator Protective Door
The skid steer must be equipped with an Operator
Front Protective Door. Serious injury or death can
result from a thrown object hitting an unprotected
operator. Contact the skid steer manufacturer or an
authorized dealer for this protective feature.
2.3 Skid Steer Warning Equipment
If transporting or operating the skid steer and
implement near a public roadway, the skid steer
must be equipped with proper warning lighting and
a Slow Moving Vehicle (SMV) emblem which are
clearly visible from the rear of the unit.
Maintain all manufacturer equipped safety shields
and guards. Always replace shields and guards that
were removed for access to connect, service, or repair the implement and skid steer.
2.4 Mount
This machine is equipped with a generic mounting system that will fit most makes and models of skid steer
loaders. When mounting, ensure the locking pins fully engage the bottom holes in the mount in order to
prevent accidental disconnection resulting in machine damage, injury, or possible death.
