Hydraulic motor is securely attached to the chain case.
•
Drive sprockets are in good condition and free of damage.
•
Drum bearings are in good working condition.
The operator's manual and safety signs affixed on
the unit contain important instructions on the safe
and proper use of the equipment. Maintain these
important safety features on the implement in good
condition to ensure the information is available to
the operator at all times.
•
Ensure the manual canister is secured to the
equipment with the operator's manual inside.
•
Ensure all safety signs are in place and legible.
Replace missing, damaged, and illegible
decals. OPS-U- 0011

Inspect the condition of the chain belts.
•
Ensure the chain case shield is in place and in
good repair.
•
Ensure the drum shield and belting is in place,
and in good condition. OPS-W-0008_A

Ensure hydraulic cylinder is installed and
retained correctly. Ensure the proper size pins
are used to retain the cylinder in place and are
secured with pins.
•
Check for hydraulic oil leaks on the cylinder,
along the hydraulic lines, and at tractor
hydraulic ports.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT use your hands to check for
oil leaks. Use a piece of heavy paper or cardboard
to check for hydraulic oil leaks. OPS-W-0010
