Push button x on radio remote
control until the tailgate is opened, or
push the button under the tailgate
moulding after unlocking.
If equipped, push button x in the
instrument panel to unlock the
tailgate and open it.
9 Danger
Do not drive with the tailgate open
or ajar, e.g. when transporting
bulky objects, since toxic exhaust
gases, which can not be seen or
smelled, could enter the vehicle.
This can cause unconsciousness
and even death.
Caution
Before opening the tailgate check
overhead obstructions, such as a
garage door, to avoid damage of
the tailgate. Always check the
moving area above and behind the
tailgate.
Note
The installation of certain heavy
accessories onto the tailgate may
affect its ability to remain open.
Closing
Use the interior handle.
Do not push the button under the
moulding or under the handle whilst
closing as this will unlock the tailgate
again.
