3. Use a screwdriver to remove the shaft seal (A).
CAUTION: Make sure that the metal surface
does not become damaged.
4. Clean and dry the seal seat. Put oil on the inner
surface of the seal seat.
5. Attach the first shaft seal press tool to a mandrel
Servicing tools on page 6 . Put a new
press. Refer to
shaft seal on the shaft seal press tool. Push the first
shaft seal into the seal seat.

6. Attach the second shaft seal press tool to the
mandrel press. Refer to
shaft seal press tool. Push the second shaft seal into
the seal seat.
7. Put grease on the seals.
