Improper insertions of batteries into the 8020/8030 handsets or dual/quad chargers
will result in damage to the product.

If battery packs are not properly inserted and removed from the SpectraLink
8020/8030 Wireless Telephones and chargers, damage such as bending or breaking
may occur to the battery contacts on the handset or chargers or to the battery pack
plastics which may prevent a battery from properly seating and remaining engaged
in the handset during normal use. Damage to the battery contacts will cause
problems with the battery contacts in the charger or handset from making proper
contact with the battery pack, resulting in intermittent or permanent power/charging
issues.
Properly inserting the battery pack into the handset, dual charger and quad charger
will prevent damage to the battery pack. Battery packs must always be used
following the proper insertion process.
