Appendix C
Installation Options
The Skyline 802.11a Access Point is designed to sit on a desktop, but an optional
mounting bracket is also available for purchase so that the unit may be mounted to a
wall or ceiling. The optional wall mounting kit contains the following parts:
One AP Mounting Disk
Two Plastic Wall Mount Anchors
Two #6x0.75" Wood Screws
In addition, you will also need the following tools to wall mount the Access Point:
3/16" Drill (for installations using wall mount anchors)
Marking Pen
Phillips Screwdriver

Ceiling Mount

Follow these steps to mount the Skyline 802.11a Access Point on the T-bar that
separates office ceiling tiles:
1.
Slide the AP Mounting Disk over a ceiling tile's T-bar so the bar rests between the
two clips on the mounting disk, as shown in the illustrations below.
