Introduction

System Requirements

To begin using the Skyline 802.11a Access Point, you must have the following items
installed on your local network:
• A 10Base-T Ethernet or 100Base-TX Fast Ethernet switch or hub
• At least one computer with an 802.11a adapter installed

The Product Package

Each Skyline 802.11a Access Point package includes:
• One Skyline 802.11a Access Point with two integral antennas that provide
antenna diversity
• One power adapter (12V, 1 Amp)
• One Skyline CD-ROM containing this user's guide as a Portable Document Format
(PDF) file
• One Skyline 802.11a Access Point Quick Start Guide
• One warranty registration card
