Radio Statistics

The Radio Statistics provide information concerning the number of packets sent and
received by an Access Point over the radio network. The following Radio Statistics are
available for an 802.11a Access Point:

Transmit Statistics

Unicast Packets: Number of unicast packets transmitted. Unicast packets are
destined for a single network node.
Unicast Bytes: Number of bytes in transmitted unicast packets.
Multicast Packets: Number of multicast packets transmitted. Multicast packets
are destined for more than one network node.
Multicast Bytes: Number of bytes in transmitted multicast packets.
Single Retries: After the AP sends a packet, it waits for an acknowledgment from
the receiving radio to confirm that the packet was successfully received. If an
acknowledgment is not received within a fixed period of time, the AP will retrans-
mit the packet. This statistic reports the number of packets that required one
retry before the AP received an acknowledgment.
