To run the tests continuously, go to the Repetitions box
on the Test Setup screen, and select Continuous (and
deselect Halt on Error in the Errors box).
The Group 1 tests include:
For test descriptions, see the online help (press [F1]).
3 When testing is complete, exit the Configuration
and Diagnostic Program and reboot the computer.
Group 2 tests do not apply to this NIC.

Running the Group 3 Test

CAUTION: Running the Group 3 test while connected
to an active network can cause intermittent failures. To
avoid this, connect to an inactive network on which only
the computer being tested is operating.
To run this test on the network, you need another
computer set up as an echo server to receive packets
from the NIC being tested and echo them back to
the NIC.
The computer being used as an echo server must have a
3Com NIC running at the same speed (10 or 100 Mbps)
as the 3Com 3C515-TX NIC.

Testing 10BASE-T NIC Operation

To test 10 Mbps NIC operation, use a computer as an
echo server that contains a NIC listed in Table 5-2.
