5.0 Cable Wiring

The Excel ® XR pump provides a 5-pin Reverse Key Female M12 (B-Code) connector with
the following pin-out:

The M12 circular connector conforms to IEC 60947-5-2 or IEC 61076-2-101 per the PROFIBUS
Interconnection Technology Guideline 2.142 Version 1.4. The shield of the cable should be
connected to protective ground on both sides and with good conductivity.
PROFIBUS DP compliant connectors and cables should be used. The following parts have been
