Configuration Using the Remote 812 IP Configuration Wizard

When you first connect to the Remote 812 Manager, and a
virtual connectivity profile (VC) has not yet been
configured, you are automatically directed to the Remote
812 IP Configuration Wizard page.

Setting Up a Remote Site Profile

This page prompts you for the minimum information it
takes to set up a Remote Site profile to your ISP.
1 Select the options you want in the fields displayed on the
Configuration Wizard page.
2 Click Configure.
3 Click Home to go to the Remote 812 Home Page, where
you can access more advanced features to configure such
as routing, filters, DNS, and so on.
4 If you do not want to configure the Remote Site profile,
click Cancel and you are redirected to the OfficeConnect
Remote 812 Home page.
5 If you want to access additional features not provided to
you when using the Remote Site Wizard, go to the Remote
Site profile from the Home page by selecting
Configuration, then Remote Sites.
6 Then select Add or Modify to go to the Remote Site Add or
Remote Site Modify web pages.
The following section describes each field on these pages.

Remote 812 IP Configuration Wizard Field Descriptions

Remote Site Name

The Remote Site Name is used to identify the profile and it's
associated parameters. The name can be up to 32
characters and typically describes the remote site you are
connected to, such as my_isp or my_corp.
