Resetting the Configuration of Your Router

To reset your unit and select a different boot option:
1 Unplug the power cable from your OCR 812.
2 Set the appropriate DIP switch. For more information, see
Table 1-2 Dip Switch Settings in Chapter 1.
3 Plug the power cable back WHILE pressing the Reset
button on the back of your OCR 812 for five seconds.
NOTE: Performing the above steps turns on the OCR 812
with the desired boot option settings and erases all
previous parameters.




NOTE: You can eliminate Step 3 by going to the CLI and
typing Delete Config. The router reboots to the new mode.
Resetting the Configuration of Your Router
If you selected DHCP Smart Mode or Unconfigured
Mode, your OCR 812 must be assigned an IP address in
order for your web browser to communicate with it.
You must also have an administrative login profile (user
name and password) assigned.
