15.0 Using the Geode GPS as a stand-alone product.
When used as part of the CTMD
15.1
- The Geode GPS is automatically turned on when GPS coordinates are required by the software.
- If the user presses the Geode power button, it will turn on/off.
- The Geode only measures the GPS position at the start position, and only draws power when the
user has the 'Start new recording' pop-up open.
To use the Geode GPS as a stand-alone product
15.2
- Turn off the cyclic top measuring device.
- Turn on the Geode.
- Connect to the Geode via Bluetooth from a device using dedicated surveying software or the Geode
Android app and IOS.
- Use the Geode according to the Geode user manual.
- The Geode contains its own battery. The Geode can be re-charged using its own charger or
alternatively using a good quality micro USB charger.
