Possible Cause
Axle in Hi range.
"Reel" fuse open.
Cutting unit relay faulty.
Cutting unit relay wiring loose, cor-
roded or damaged.
Transaxle shift linkage out of ad-
justment (not closing Hi/Low switch
in Low range).
Axle Hi/Low switch faulty.
Axle Hi/Low switch wiring loose,
corroded or damaged.
PTO switch faulty.
PTO switch wiring loose, corroded
or damaged.
Variable reel control in neutral (N)
position or linkage out of
adjustment..
Variable reel control switch faulty.
Variable reel control switch wiring
loose, corroded or damaged.
Problem not electrical.

Correction
Axle must be in Low range for cut
ting units to operate.
Check fuse and replace if fuse is
open. If fuse burns out often, find
and correct cause.
Test relay. Replace relay if faulty.
Repair wiring.
Check linkage and adjust if nec
essary.
Test switch. Replace if faulty.
Make sure switch is screwed all
the way in.
Repair wiring.
Test switch. Replace if faulty.
Repair wiring.
Check control and linkage. Adjust
linkage if necessary.
Test switch. Replace if faulty.
