Initial commissioning

¶
Remove the KTS 350, the OBD connection cable, the
storage battery, the power supply unit with power
supply cable and the DVD drive with USB connecting
cable from the case.
4.1

Fitting the storage battery

¶
Insert the battery in the battery compartment and
secure by means of the two screws on the battery
(see fig. 3, item 3).

It is advisable to charge the storage battery for at
least three hours before running the KTS 350 off the
battery.
4.2

Port

Prior to the initial commissioning, make sure the mains
voltage matches the voltage specified on the power
supply unit (use the power supply cable provided).
4.3 Configuration of the operating
system
1. Supply the KTS 350 with voltage by way of the
power supply unit.
2. Switch on KTS 350.
3. After switching on for the first time, select the
Windows operating system language via the
language selection menu and follow the on-screen
instructions.

of Access Center" window (Icon
4. Select the wireless network (WLAN) of the
workshop in the "Connect" window.

You can also skip this step and perform it later
under Windows 10.
5. When selecting a network, enter the network
security code via the USB keyboard or on-screen
keyboard.
 A connection with the network is established.
6. In the "Get going fast" window, select <Use express
settings>.
7. In the "Select connection type" window, select
<Join a local active directory domain>.
 The "Create account for this PC" window.
8. Enter user name via on-screen keyboard or USB
keyboard.
