2-1. Service Mode

2-1-1. Startup Procedure

1. Turn on the power switch while pressing the [&] and
[*] buttons simultaneously.
The service mode starts up.

When "SERVICE MODE" is displayed on LCD, you
can release the [&] and [*] buttons.
Screen example
2. When "HIT ANY KEY" is displayed, press any button
on the front panel.
The SVC1 (service menu 1) screen is displayed.

2-2. Adjustment menu

The service mode is divided into the following three
menus.
. SVC1 (service menu 1)
. SVC2 (service menu 2)
. SVC3 (service menu 3)

You do not have to perform the mechanical adjustment in
this unit. The adjustment such as sensor level is adjusted
automatically.

2-2-1. Button Operation in Menu

Shifting cursor:
Use the [&], [(], [*] and [)] buttons.
Shifting between menus (SVC1 and SVC3):
Use the [&] and [*] buttons.
Selecting adjustment item in menu:
Use the [(] and [)] buttons.
Changing adjustment value, etc:
Use the [&] and [*] buttons.
Determination (Execution):
Use the [EXEC] button.

SVC1 (service menu 1)
Screen example
PRINT TEST (with temperature adjustment)
This item is used when the test print is output. When this
item is carried out, the temperature of thermal head is
controlled. Therefore, it may take time before the printing
starts.
HEAD V
The voltage value of thermal head is adjusted.
Increase the value: The voltage supply to the thermal
Decrease the value: The voltage supply to the thermal
head is increased and the print density
becomes higher.
