ATTENTION! Intensity of stimulation: EMS programs (Firming up
and Toning up, Strength, Endurance, Agonist/Antagonist) are
divided in 3 phases: warm up phase, work phase, recovery phase.
During the warm up phase (phase 1) the intensity of stimulation
has to be set in order to produce reasonable solicitation of the
muscle and warm it up without causing fatigue (18÷30mA). During
the work phases (the middle phases of each program), T-ONE
alternates contraction impulses with active recovery impulses.
The two intensities must be selected separately: the contraction
intensity (shown by a full bar on the display) should be set at
20÷30 for not very trained people, 30÷50mA for trained people,
over 50mA for well trained people.
We suggest that you set the recovery intensity value (between
one contraction and another) at about 10÷15% less than the
contraction intensity value. During the last recovery phase, the
intensity value has to be set for good massaging of the stimulated
part, without producing pain (18÷30).
E01 • Firming up (non-medical program)
Cable type: TYPE 1 (see Figure 1 - Cable type.)
Indicated for firming up muscles in the arms and bust, or the legs; working
mainly on slow-twitch fibres. Treatment frequency: 3/4 times a week.
Session duration: 30 minutes.
Intensity: such as to produce good contractions but not painful, beginning
with 15, by gradually increasing the intensity with advancing weeks.
