Following successful completion of downloading, the
"Online updates" dialog window displays the message
"KTS" software update has been downloaded. Do you
now wish to install the "KTS" software update?
Installing KTS ��� software update
!
During software update, the USB link and the power
supply to the KTS 200 are not to be interrupted.Per-
form the following work steps in the order indicated:
1. Select <Yes>.
2. ESI[tronic] Startcenter start screen: Select "KTS ���
>> Device information".
3. Select update in the Available updates box.

If no "Available update" is displayed, the KTS 200
already has the latest software and need not therefo-
re be updated.
4. Select <Update>.

If the KTS software update was cancelled (e. g. dis-
connection of USB link) or not installed in full, reco-
very can be performed with the ESI[tronic] Startcen-
ter: "Help >> Service >> Restore KTS software".

Faults

The KTS 200 may not be opened. Opening the
KTS 200 erases its licensing data. It is then no
longer possible to perform control unit diagnosis.
No communication with the control unit
The fault message "No system found" appears during
control unit diagnosis.
Possible causes What can you do?
Incorrect lead connec- Check whether the correct lead has be-
ted. en used.
Incorrect pin selected Under "Start >> Diagnostic socket",
in pin selection menu check which pin has to be used.

Maintenance

The KTS 200 may not be opened. Opening the KTS 200
erases its licensing data. It is then no longer possible
to perform control unit diagnosis.
6.1 Cleaning
The housing and the display on the KTS 200 may only
be cleaned with soft cloths and with neutral cleaning
agents. Do not use any abrasive cleaning agent or rough
cleaning cloths.
