Switching on�off BEA
Switch on or off with the central mains switch on the
back of the device (see Fig. 2; Item 5).

Before switching off the device, you must shut down
the PC using the Windows operating system. Before
switching the device back on again, the PC should
have been switched off for at least 1 minute.

When operating the BEA, faults can occur, if a PC or
other components (e.g. mouse, connecting cables)
are used, which have not been supplied by Bosch.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Only clean the trolley, housing and LCD display with soft
cloths and neutral cleansing agents. Do not use any abrasive
cleansing agents or rough workshop cleaning cloths.
6.2

Calibration

When used in areas subject to calibration, it is essential
that calibration is carried out regularly. Take note of
country-specific regulations for this.

Maintenance and maintenance intervals

Routine maintenance maintains the readiness to
operate.
The measurement equipment must be maintained un-
der the conditions stated in the operating instructions
within the periods specified therein. Maintenance can
be carried out by a maintenance service company, or by
competent personnel of the owner of the measurement
equipment; it must be proven and made clear on the
measurement device.
Devices which must be opened (repairs), must subse-
quently be re-calibrated. Device repairs (open device,
adjust, repair, etc.) may only be carried out by the au-
thorized customer service.

specification.
