Intended use The dataFEED edgeGate is a gateway connecting industrial networks to IT applications running on-premises or in the cloud. It connects OPC UA Servers and PLCs with applications via OPC UA or the MQTT protocol. In addition, the gateway offers deep integration into selected IoT hubs. -

IEC 60079-17. Mounting For mounting the dataFEED edgeGate on a DIN rail (35 mm), attach the two upper notches to the rail. The dataFEED edgeGate supports the network connection protocol UPnP (Universal Plug And Play) for Windows 10. MAC, Linux und Android use Avahi/Zeroconf, the Zero Configuration network implementation protocol which identifies the gateway as an HTTPs server. -
