    About edgeGate Intended Use edgeGate is a gateway connecting industrial networks to IT applications running on-premises or in the cloud. It connects OPC UA Servers as well as Siemens and Modbus TCP PLCs with applications via OPC UA or the MQTT protocol.

    Note Do not open the edgeGate housing. It does not contain any parts that need to be maintained or repaired. In the event of a fault or defect, remove the device and return it to the vendor.

    Hardware Installation Mounting and Dismounting Note Make sure edgeGate is mounted in a manner that the power supply disconnecting device or interrupt facility can always be reached easily. Note Depending on the installation position, the maximum ambient operating temperature may differ.

    The micro SD card is not included in the delivery. When selecting a micro SD card bear in mind the range of the operating temperature of edgeGate. The storage capacity of the micro SD card may not exceed 32 GB.

    Chapter 3 - Hardware Installation Resetting the Device If edgeGate can no longer be reached, e.g. due to a configuration error, the device can be reset to the factory settings by pressing the reset button at the bottom of the front panel.

    DHCP and DNS servers it is possible to reach the device by this host name in your network.
