MadStad Adjustable Windshield Mount
Please read this entire manual before proceeding with installation.

What is in the box:

(1) Set of MadStad adjustable windshield brackets
(2) Extension plates
(1) Aluminum crossbar (147mm)
(6) M6 x 16 Screws
(2) 1/4" split lock washers
(4) M6 x 16 mounting screws
(4) M6 flat washers
(4) M6 lock nuts
(4) M5 truss screws
(4) M5 plastic washers
(4) soft rubber washers

Tools Needed:

- 4 mm Allen wrench (hex key)
- 10 mm wrench (open-end, box, or small adjustable crescent)
- #2 Phillips screwdriver

  • Page 2 You will need to remove your factory windshield before attaching our brackets. Installation Overview Your MadStad brackets attach to the factory mounting brackets in one of two ways. As shown below, and you will use the factory windshield screws to attach them directly to the factory brackets.
  • Page 3 Attach the MadStad brackets to the top side of these plates using the upper holes as shown at right. The black adjustment knob on the brackets needs to be on the INSIDE as seen in the photo on Page 2.
  • Page 4 MadStad brackets. Then lay the shield over the brackets and push in both screws on one side, then push in the screws on the other side. The rubber well nuts are flexible and shield holes are oversized so you can nudge the shield around to align the screws with the holes properly.
  • Page 5 PIVOT SCREWS The MadStad mount has a pivot screw on each set of brackets, located near the center of the bottom bracket. A nylon lock nut keeps the screw snugly in place, yet allows the brackets to slide back and forth. It is adjusted at the factory to have a minimum of play yet still allow the brackets to move.
