storage system A RAID chassis with at least one connected expansion chassis. Product documentation and
interfaces use the terms storage system and system interchangeably.
ULP Unified LUN Presentation. A RAID controller feature that enables a host to access mapped
volumes through either controller's host ports. ULP incorporates ALUA extensions.
