File Menu

Print
This option controls the printing functions. The data printed is dependent on the current search options.
There are three print options:
-
Print Single Page – prints a single page of the sites currently displayed
-
Print to End of List – to print from the currently selected site to the end of the grid
Print Entire List – to print the entire grid.

Import
This option is not currently supported
Export
Stored data can be exported to other data formats using this option. There are two types of exports for site
information and panel information: Site Details and Galaxy Panel. The data can be exported for specific
sites and panels or all available data.
The data can be exported into text (comma separated), Microsoft Access database or Microsoft Excel
spreadsheet format.
Exit
This exits the program. If any sites are locked you will not be able to exit until the corresponding Galaxy Gold
application has been exited or they have been unlocked.

Site Menu

Add New Site
The Add New Site option allows a new customer site to be created and the details of the site to be entered.
The information is entered in four screens Site Location, Contact Details, Remote Servicing Information
and Notes. It is not essential to enter information into all the fields. The only field which must be entered is
Site Name.
Use the Tab key to move between the fields and the Next button to go the next window.
Site Location
Name of site: The name (60 alpha-numeric characters maximum) used to identify the site. This
must be entered when creating a new site.
Note: The site name cannot contain the following characters: [ ] ' | # ?
Address and telephone details: Enter the address telephone number of the location the control
panel is installed in
Account Number: this the account number programmed in the Galaxy control panel
communications menu. This should be entered for reference and when using the Event
Monitoring application.
Contact Details
Contact Details: enter details of the person to contact in case of a problem with the site
Connection Details:
Remote Telephone Number: The site telephone number (30 digits maximum) to which the Galaxy
panel is connected if using PSTN/ISDN. This must be entered when creating a new site. (Not
required for RS232 connection).
Remote IP Address: The IP Address (AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD) of the Ethernet module connected to
the Galaxy control panel, should be entered in this field.
