13. Transfer the drill holes from the drill tem-
plate to the front panel.
14. Drill the drill holes in the indicated posi-
tions using a (Ø 2 mm) drill bit.
15. Remove the protective films from the
other Velcro straps and stick the velcro
straps to the front panel using the drilling
template.
16. Fix the front panel to the appliance door
using the Velcro straps (f). Hold the front
panel in place and carefully open the
door.

17. Remove the 4 screws from the inside of
the door. Screw the front panel in place

at these positions using the 4 enclosed
screws (k).
The front panel has been successfully
mounted.
Adjusting the door's
accessibility
You can adjust how easy or difficult it is to
open the appliance door. This setting is of-
ten required after the front panel has been
mounted. You can change the spring force of
the door by turning both lower screws.
• Turn the screw anticlockwise to adjust the
door more smoothly.
• Turn the screws clockwise to make it
harder to open the door.

Degree of water hardness

Hard water will cause calcification within the
appliance. Also, more dishwasher detergent
will be required to clean the dishes. Soft wa-
ter increases foaming.
For this reason, the degree of hardness of
the water has to be determined and adjusted
even before the first use. You can determine
the water hardness from your water bill or
enquire about the degree of hardness at the
water supply company. The appliance is fac-
tory-set to a hardness level of "H3".
