Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Conducting improper repairs to the appliance puts the person carrying out the re-
pairs and the user in danger.
■ Only authorised specialists may repair the appliance. If in doubt, contact our Ser-
vice department (see page EN-39).
■ Only carry out the actions which are described in this user manual.
■ Never repair defective dishwashers – or dishwashers which you presume to be de-
fective – yourself. You can endanger yourself and subsequent users.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the appliance can lead to property damage and to damage to
the appliance.
■ If water overfl ows, switch off the water supply immediately and then contact the
service department (see page EN-39).
■ If the water has overfl owed, remove any water standing in the dishwasher before
restarting a dishwashing programme.
Problems with operation
Problem
The dishwasher cannot
be switched on.
The selected dishwash-
ing programme will not
start or it stops.
Possible cause
The mains plug has not been
inserted into a socket.
There is no voltage being
supplied through the socket.
The appliance door is not
closed properly.
The water tap is not properly
on.
The inlet hose is defective.
There is a risk of overflowing.
The electrical water stop sys-
tem has been activated.
Solution
Insert the mains plug into the sock-
et.
Check the fuse. Check the socket
by connecting another device.
Close the appliance door.
Turn the water tap on completely.
