Dishwasher operation

Before getting started

• Read chapter "Safety" from page EN-4, in
particular the safety instructions.
• Set up and connect the appliance as de-
scribed in chapter "Installation and con-
nection" on page EN-28.
• Refill dishwasher detergents, rinse aids
and dishwasher salts or multi-tabs.

Preparation

1. Open the tap completely.
2. Close the appliance door.
3. Press the "On/Off" button
the appliance on.
You will hear a signal tone and all LEDs will
illuminate briefly.
After a moment, the ECO programme LED
will light up.

Protecting the environment

– The ECO programme is the most efficient
programme for cleaning normally soiled
dishes in terms of combined energy and
water consumption.
– If you keep to the maximum specified ca-
pacity when loading your appliance and
you arrange the dishes correctly, energy
and water can be saved (see "Loading the
dishwasher" on page EN-17).
– Manual pre-rinsing of the dishes leads to
higher water and energy consumption and
is not recommended.
– Cleaning dishes in your appliance gen-
erally uses less energy and water than
washing by hand, provided you follow the
instructions in the user manual.
Selecting and starting the
dishwashing programme
1. Search for the appropriate dishwashing
programme with the help of the "pro-
gramme table", see page EN-21.
(1) to switch
2. Press the "Programme selection" but-
ton P (9) repeatedly until the LED to the
right of the desired programme symbol
lights up.
3. Press the "Start/Pause" button
start the dishwashing programme.
The LED to the right of the programme
symbol will flash while the programme is
running.
4. Once the programme has finished, a
signal tone will sound and the LED to the
right of the programme symbol will stop
flashing.
Now turn off the water tap and press the
"On/Off" button
pliance.
5. Wait a little while before unloading the
dishes.

Additional options

You can combine the various dishwashing
programmes (6) with additional options. The
additional options must be selected before
starting the dishwashing programme.
