Installation and connection
Connecting the dishwasher to
the electricity
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock / fi re hazard!
■ Prior to connecting the appliance, en-
sure that you have page EN-4 taken
note of all the safety instructions and
adhered to them.
Depending on the installation recess, the
appliance must be connected before or after
installation.
– For the electrical connection of the ap-
pliance, a professional must install an
earthed power socket with its own fuse of
a sufficient size (230 V~/50 Hz/10 A).
– The plug must be installed in such a way
that the recess into which the dishwasher
will be fitted is deep enough even when the
plug is plugged in.
– Do not use a multi-socket extension cable,
multi-socket plug, travel adapter, extension
cable or similar.
– We recommend using a pulse-sensitive re-
sidual current device (RCD).
• Insert the mains plug into the socket.

Installing the dishwasher

NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Selecting the wrong screws can dam-
age the front panel.
■ Use the screws which are supplied in
the delivery or screws of an appropri-
ate length.
1. To protect the worktop against conden-
sation (e), affix the enclosed protective
film to the underside of the worktop. This
will help you minimise damage to the
worktop from the outflow of hot steam.
2. Insert the two mounting brackets (g) into
the front slots on the top of the appliance
so that you can screw the appliance to
the worktop later on.
