2 Overview
The option provides a communications connection between the drive and a
MECHATROLINK-III network. The option connects the drive to a MECHATROLINK-
III network and facilitates the exchange of data.
Install the option on a drive to perform the following functions from a
MECHATROLINK-III master device:
• Operate the drive
• Monitor the drive operation status
• Change drive parameter settings
