Assemble the Open-Frame Rack Mounting Shelf
The open-frame rack mounting shelf is shipped in three pieces: one bottom piece and
two side pieces. Eight screws are provided. To assemble the open-frame rack mounting
shelf:
Place one side of the mounting shelf over the holes on the bottom shelf piece.

Partially insert screws into the open holes in the flanges of the open-frame rack

Tighten all the screws completely.
3.
Place the other side of the mounting shelf over the holes on the bottom shelf piece.
4.
Partially insert screws into the open holes in the flanges of the open-frame rack

mounting shelf.
Tighten all the screws completely.
6.
Install Cage Nuts, If Needed
Insert cage nuts, if needed, into the holes listed in
Table 4 on page 10
(an X indicates a mounting hole location). The hole distances are
relative to the standard U division on the rack that is aligned with the bottom of the
mounting shelf and rear support bracket.
To install cage nuts in an open-frame rack:
